Analisis Pengendalian Bahan Baku Dengan Metode Material Requirement Planning Pada Bento Kopi Uns Di Surakarta

Every company will always receive requests, even though the number of requests varies, some are high or low. Many companies experience problems with their raw material inventory management systems. Too much stock of raw materials increases storage costs, while too little stock causes shortages of raw materials (out of stock). By controlling raw materials well, the company can save production costs and the company itself can continue to operate to achieve its goals. This research uses the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method to analyze raw material supplies. This research uses primary data and secondary data. Techniques for collecting data in this research were carried out by means of observation, interviews, data studies and documentation, related to the production process and the condition of raw material supplies in the warehouse. This type of research is a case study at Bento Kopi UNS in Surakarta. The results of using the MRP method for calculating raw material supplies are different for each existing method. The LFL method produces inventory costs of IDR 816,000, the EOQ method produces inventory costs of IDR 363,000, while the POQ method produces inventory costs of IDR 1,050,500. This means that by using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, the UNS Bento Coffee company in Surakarta can save costs of IDR 1,479,000.
